India surges in trial activity

Although more clinical trials are being held in Australia than India today, this will not be the case for much longer, Alek Safarian told Trials in Focus.

Mr Safarian says Novotech currently runs trials in Australia, NZ, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore in response to market demand which is progressively more Asia focused.

“Trial numbers are significantly increasing in India and the Asia Pacific and in Australia the trend is pretty flat if not decreasing,” Mr Safarian said.
